Family Science Nights are held throughout the school year for families, friends and coworkers who would like to add a dash of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to their lives. Participants enjoy a unique experience where teamwork, innovation and inspiration unite to inspire the pursuit of lifelong learning.

Family Mission: Operation Comet
April 8, 2026 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm

A large comet is passing close to Earth soon. It’s a perfect opportunity to study and explore long-period comets. As a crew of astronauts, scientists, and researchers, your students will collaborate on building technologies to study the long-period comet and share their data with Mission Control scientists.

Goals quickly change when an urgent discovery is made by crew members and the teams are tasked to change course and quickly problem-solve a solution.

All children must be accompanied by an adult and should be 4th grade or older. 

BONUS: Participants on 4/8/26 will be entered to win a chance for their student to participate in one of our summer camp missions in July of 2026!
